About

Anselm Pavlik, born 1983 in Vienna; composer, producer and audio-visual artist.
I studied composition, music-production and advanced media technologies at Bruckner Private University (Linz) and ecology and scientific film at the University of Vienna.

I write and produce different styles of music and score for theatre performances and motion picture. I merge acoustic and electronic elements to achieve modern sounds and reach contemporary horizons in my compositions.

As an audio-visual artist my work starts with the observation of nature: form, structure, sound, colour, movement, effect and time. In search for an extensive rendition of my observations I tie visual art, music, film and natural science together. These components merge into a synthesis which leads into an own language and concludes into an individual perception of nature, being integrated as a further working theme. The results are room installations, films, drawings and compositions.
